Jin and Lucy met on the bus to dance class and have performed together at house shows, PICA's TBA:08 Festival, Performance Works Northwest, Conduit Dance, Everett Station Lofts, Half/Dozen Gallery, and Holocene. Jin Camou choreographed a new piece in collaboration with Lucy Yim for No.Fest, using some material created by Linda Austin for her video blog "A Head of Time" lindapaustin.wordpress.com. Jin studied dance at the University of Hawaii, and continued her movement investigation at London Contemporary Dance School, The Circus Space, Tangentz Butoh, Conduit Dance, and Performance Works Northwest. Lucy is interested in textiles, flowers, gestures, paper garlands, Gyrotonic and the gathering of movement technique to make up one's own body philosophy. She studied performa-dance and choreography at Sarah Lawrence College and was later seen around NYC in work/dance that involved falling, eating paper & 'shaking it'.Photo by Laurel Degutis
