My name is Mannequinhead. I started playing music at age 8. I like to sample lots of stuff and put it in the music. I’m a sucker for exotic instruments. My life’s work: a severely flawed masterpiece and continual work in progress -- my own little contribution to art and secret society. I live with a family of mannequins in real life. We make music together completely from scratch that sounds like hardcore-gansta’-rap-meets-underground-electro-pop, equal parts alter-ego and extension-of-everyday not-so-ordinary life and tell stories of life, love, loss, intimacy, fantasy, experience, rejection, and hope. Mannequinhead will perform several sets n Lombard Avenue throughout the day for other open and like-minded individuals for a myriad of fun and memorable spontaneity. This is my passion: to create, to share & collaborate.
