Sustentacula is David Rafn (pronounced “mega-cat”) wth Ryan Stuewe (pronounced “Stee-vee”). Ryan plays drums and creates loops. David programs the computer and sings all poetical. They are united by a shared love of pork products, figs, funk and whiskey. Sustentacula became a duo in 2009 less than a year following David's debut release on Rasbliutto Recordings. His solo acoustic tunes, treated with electronically derived noise, is hardly recognizable today, as its driven by Ryan's precise and funky drums over electronica bangers composed by David.
